You can also use the NHS App to book appointments, order repeat prescriptions and access a range of other healthcare services:
If you are on regular medication, now would be the time to commence online ordering and nominate a local pharmacy to receive your prescription. Please telephone reception and they will activate this facility for you. Alternatively you can hand deliver your prescription request by placing it in the post-box at the front door of the practice or send it through the post to us.
Due to the current increase in demand, please allow four working days for prescription requests to be processed. Thank you.
Patients on regular medication will be given a computerised repeat prescription request sheet. This sheet is to be used to obtain a repeat prescription and either handed in to reception, sent in by post or faxed.
Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription online using SystmOnline or the NHS app. For information on how to register please click on the link provided or contact the reception team for details.
We do not accept prescription requests over the phone.
Prescriptions will then be ready for collection after 4:00pm 2 days after receipt of the request so please allow adequate time for this. If you want the prescription posted back, you must enclose a stamped addressed envelope and allow extra time for the post.
PLEASE NOTE: If you have not been seen for some time you may be asked to make an appointment with the pharmacist for a medication review.
You can now go directly to a Pharmacist for support with:
- Medication reviews/re-authorisations
- Acute prescription requests
- Medication queries
- Liaising with all local pharmacies
- In-house medicines advice
Contact your GP reception team to book an appointment.
